GOTTA start with Slay the Princess, our other game, which has an expansion coming out in a couple of weeks. A lot more surreal than Scarlet Hollow, but it has a similar blend of horror, dark comedy and romance.
Others:
Disco Elysium – dark, funny and insightful CRPG where you're a detective trying to piece together a complicated murder.

Perfect Tides - a heartfelt coming of age story about a young woman growing up in an island town. Point and click. Brilliant writing, but it takes a little bit to warm up. One of my all time favorites though! Very excited for the sequel coming out at some point in the near-ish future.

In Stars and Time – wonderful timeloop rpg. A ton of heart, great characters, very earnest. You'll probably cry.

If you are looking for a Horror VN with a heavy Social Dynamic theme, then The Letter might be what you are looking for. If you want less horror elements, turning off the Quick time Events cuts out many of the potential "dead end" options. With the endings then just being a result of your characters relations you have developed toward the end and who survives.
Also you might like We Know the Devil if you like eerie visual novels, it's very short compared to Scarlet Hollow though.
