The witch isn't entirely on your side, but I suspect she's more of a "Big picture" kind of person, and that's why she clashes a bit with the heroes, who are thinking on a more personal scale.
Never drunk ANY of her tea blends in previous episodes.
idk I honestly think she's the cat :P i know it might be Reese but the fact that if you try to say "How do I know you're not the cat" the game outright says "That's ridiculous, why would she be helping you or warning you then? Pick something else" seems pretty sus to me :P I wouldnt be surprised if her tea had some kind of magical thought control properties, I was already thinking that and I didnt even know you had to drink it til I read this thread... Also that her kid Kaneeka played the witch in chapter 3, makes me wonder if her and Sybil have some kind of family connection with her.
Basically if you don't do that, you can decline the tea when you sit down with her.
