The desecrated tomb riddle

I don't get it. I lit the torches in the exact order from the lore scroll "The fall of the Ceymaceans" and nothing happens.

Light all torches except near mystic's and wise man's graves. If you can't light torches - search other parts of dungeon first.

1. Rightful
2. Careless

The torches are:

Good --------- Careless ------------ Mad


Scholar------- Rascal -------------- Mystic

What is the sequence. I'm going nuts here :D

I would probably alter the hint to be a bit more explicit (at least in the English version - not sure about the other translations) - probably something to reflect that "While the Mystic and the Scholar Sleep, the Demon Awakens" - since I did get hitched up on it for about 10 minutes myself, since I initially thought it was an order puzzle as well (rather than a "presence puzzle")

I don't know if my game is bugged or I'm just dumb or what. I cannot seem to progress any further in the game, even though several zones are open to me. I only have one quest, to get the ashes from the necropolis. I cannot enter that closed door on the far right on that map, nor can I do anything with the rubble on the left. Thus, can't do anything there.

And in this dungeon, with the 6 graves, I cannot "light torches" as this thread suggests. I have searched every inch of this dungeon, and every other dungeon open to me. I only have Lore 1 and 2 and Recipe 1 and 2. I have killed the druids and the snake pants guy in the other dungeon multiple times. I just opened up the level 16 dungeon, but I'm only level 10 (and that's only due to going through everything many, many times). I cannot imagine I'm supposed to go to the level 16 dungeon to progress this level 6 one.

In town, no quests are available. The druid lady says she needs more time, the librarian says bring him any books, and the red portal guy says nothing new.

I feel the thing I'm lacking is whatever lets you light those torches. But I never got lore that hinted at any order or anything, and I'm thinking that's what will trigger it. Or am I just dumb and missing something blatantly obvious?

Black Dynamite if you can't interact with that puzzle then this screenshot is where you need to go and what you need to do:

Go to the purple mist and defeat the general that appears there.
You'll loot a scroll that tells you about the puzzle and allows you to interact with it.

I'm not sure how explicit you can get. It says the boss is summoned when those two are out in the clue.

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately, whatever is supposed to trigger that event isn't happening for me. Despite having stood on that spot a hundred times before, I entered the dungeon and ran directly to that spot just in case somehow I missed it; nothing. Killed every single thing in the dungeon and interacted with every single event and then went back; nothing. Here is a screenshot of me standing on that spot as well, and no combat triggered. I am at a loss as to what to do, and I'd really rather not start over, particularly if it happens yet again.

At this point there is either a bug that I somehow picked up, or I failed to activate some other trigger, because I have never actually had a quest to go to this dungeon. What that trigger could be escapes me as well, since nothing I do opens up anything else in the game.
