Undo / Redo

Not working on Index.

Using left / right joystick on tutorial step does nothing.

Any ideas?

You're probably doing it on the wrong controller. It's the palette hand controller.

Then I don't know what to say, I can't reproduce that for the life of me. Are you on the default Steam version, with the Knuckles?

On the canvas? On the palette, there is indeed only undo. It should work both ways on the canvas just fine though. What headset do you have?

Yes default Steam version. Default Index knuckles

So what I am doing

Holding the palette in my left I am using the left index controller for clarity the one with the red circle in this image:

When you wanna undo on the pallet I'm pretty sure its a face button, iirc its Y on the Rift controller, so maybe its B to undo any pallet changes on the index? left and right on the stick should only undo/redo stuff on the canvas. I could be wrong though, only got the game myself and ran through the tutorial a few hours ago.

Indeed that's for the palette undo, I think HOTMACHINA is trying to undo the canvas though, which is indeed with the palette hand joystick left/right. I really don't understand why it's not working for him though. Can you send me your Player.log from C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\The Aviary\Vermillion? Copy it to pastebin and put it up here.

BTW I should mention the only reason I am bothered is not because I particularly care about the feature, but because I cannot end the tutorial without passing through this section.

Maybe a skip button on that part as well would help.

The skip button should not be necessary, I just don't see why it isn't working in your case specifically. If you're feeling up for it, you can patch out the required tutorial in registry:

Windows > Start > Regedit > Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\The Aviary\Vermillion > Add the key GettingStartedTutorialComplete_h1791892899 > Set its value to 1

I will try to make sense of the log in the days.
