I saw a walkthrough on youtube showing that shows that I should have blown mui on the drone BEFORE deactivating it, but I did not do so. Now I'm afraid it's impossible to go on. Has anyone been in this situation?

I was stuck in definitely same situation and finally figure out how to deal with it. Land the drone close to you and use right mouse button to direct Mui to ride on it.
