Hmmm... Playtime...
So... the game does look beautiful, and I enjoyed the demo... but I'm seeing people post how it only took them 2-4 hours to beat? Is that true?

I guess my question... despite the beautiful graphics and great gameplay... do you honestly feel $20 (or $17.99 at discount) is worth a 2-4 hour game? I'm not against paying that much for a short game (if it's amazing), but I am a bit hesitant... did you find the game worth the price?

i just finished it after 5 hours and i think it's worth it. Especially if you liked Games like Limbo, INSIDE or any other Cinematic Platformer. It has a really beautiful artstyle and wonderful music.

Some of these type of games ask for 30€ these days (little nightmares ii, bramble mountain king - for example) so i was happy to see a cheaper price tag on this. i don't regret it.

In the end it's up to you if you want to spend the money on this game right now, but if not, then get it later on sale at least.

it's 4-6h for an average person, maybe 7 if you take in the scenery, I just did a rerun that took 3h including getting some of the shrines so it'll be shorter if it's up your alley

Yep! I similarly loved FAR: Lone Sails and Changing Tides, and Firewatch. I think we need more games that aren't infinite grinds or 50+ hr slogs. It's fine to tell a short and concise story and let players experience a few hours of intrigue.

Think of it like a movie!

I agree. I don't always want 50+ hour games either and am 100% fine with shorter games. I just like to make sure it's good for that price. I did buy it and will say... not disappointed. Definitely worth the $20 price tag :-) Loving it so far.

Ya, it looks like too short for me... I was hoping for some 10+ hours of gameplay for that price... Maybe I'll skip it even though I liked the demo. Will be back for a better discount - something like 50%+.

I will say that, so far, it's been worth the price tag. I was a bit concerned about the price VS playtime, as well, but so far I've really enjoyed it. Interesting story, very well put together, easy controls, beautiful artwork and environments. I do recommend it!

It's great. I'm about 2/3 of the way through it, and I definitely think it is worth the price.

Whoever says 2-4h is not honest. I don't believe there is anyone on the planet who has finished this game in 2h (in a normal playthrough, not counting speedruns if they already exist). From what I can see it's more like 4-5h. It was 4h for me.

And it was totally worth it. Seeing how the AAA sector is failing over and over lately, while at the same time charging more and more money, smaller games like this one are quite refreshing and deserve our money. It wasn't just 4h, it was a very enjoyable 4h with high quality content and great atmosphere.

Quality over quantity i'd say. Who cares how many hours you spent, if the experience was mesmerizing and the soundtrack carried you through a beautifully crafted world with lots of love for details, fantastic animation and great gameplay.

How exactly is 4 hours of gameplay enough and worth, really?
