Tranferring stats from a drainga to costly punch

Hi can somebody help me transfer 500% hp drainga to costly punch pls? It turns into quake, and i managed to turn drainga to dispel or darkness but it changes costly punch still.

The only things that can transfer with costly punch are libra and tri/electrocute/flare/ultima but i cant seem to get those from drainga, any ideas? Thx

Also planning to use 50 chocobo feathers to max out 999%, but i really dont wanna farm 49 feathers and merge with libra its too long

Hm, is your Drainga with 5 stars?
As that's often an issue when using the Materia Fusion.

If not, then this combination might not work.

I've wasted A LOT of materia with good stats as of such issues (blindly mixed and got out a materia I didn't want XD).

It is unfortunately 5 stars. I've tried again and again but no success, might just have to farm feathers.

About wasted materia, just save before you do any and reload save if you screwed up something or nothing worked out.

I don't think that Drainga can be transferred. I think its one of the special materia that comes with +500% meant to be exclusive to it and you can use it as an easy access to this stat bonus but can't as a penalty it isn't flexible. You can make a new one pretty easily though with the darkness materia trick or something like mastered Smart Consumer (you can steal in bulk and master, lazy option if you want to afk but darkness method is faster and no afk farm required).

Start again use costly punch with libra no mastered materias. And just use any stones you have then buy another libra you can change the stat with the higher tier stones at bottom of list each time so... you could get say +99 MAG then another libra with a stone that changes it to 999%hp how I maxed all my materias. There's a few guides on Google and YouTube this is easiest method
