Game is great but man some of those remixed music tracks suck
Like the Mako City for example, like what the hell did they do to it?

it bothers the hell out of me that some of these tracks are badly remixed, but thankfully we'll get mods to get the original OST eventually.

While i don't completely dislike the new arrangements, pretty much all the tracks they decided to remix are better in their original form. The final dungeon music received the worst rearrangement imo.

The music from Trailer #1 on the Store Page was pretty unbearable. Also random quotes from characters smashed in was cringe and tonedeaf.

...You do realise Takeharu Ishimoto did these rearrangements himself, right? The SAME GUY as the original.

That's subjective. You can dislike them, sure, doesn't mean they're bad. You just *dislike* them. Which is fine. Ishimoto still did them himself. His tracks, his decision.

Semantics, all you've done is create an arbitrary distinction between words. Bad and good are subjective and it's fair to call a remix you don't like bad even if it was done by the original artist.

regardless if he did, some of them suck compared to his original works.

not really insulting the guy, i doubt he cares about some random person on the internet like me thinks. All i'm saying compared to his original version of the CC OST, some of his remixes lose the feel of the original songs and sound way too different all together which in my opinion suck compared to the great work he did originally.

The more and more I look at this game it looks like a cashgrab. It looks to me like this is a tax write off project with which they can hopefully make some money off of. Did they have some sort of contractual agreement to re release the game like this to make a profit? They could have literally just republished the PSP version with upscaled 4k textures and I would have think that is a more respectable product than... this. This legit is head scratching... how much did they spend on this? Why couldn't they do what I said and just republish it on PC.

the game its self is actually very good, just some of the choices regarding the music make me scratch my head, some tracks are in their unaltered state and sound great while others are just unrecognizable
