understandable, a bit sad though would've been great if they did a total remake from scratch.
Never said it was a sequel or part 2 so do not get where you got that from. I am very much aware of the fact that this was released for PSP 15 years ago, I was 15 at the time and also I know it is a prequel. However that does not excuse them from not updating the smudge cutscenes and poor animation, it just looks cheap even if the game itself is good.
Yeah I can agree on that. Really looking forward to part2. :)
Wish they could've upped the pre-render cutscenes though a bit hard to watch a smudge screen.
My guess is they tried to release it as quick as possible to not compete and get some extra cash out of it. although, given the fandom they might have bought it anyway after the fact.
Ever Crisis is that mobile phone game right? Sadly or well not sadly I do not play anything on a mobile phone (horrible platform to play at) so just gonna have to watch youtube for that haha.
MTs are bad, but I guess that is how they will make money of their product. Probably lucrative, some people do fall for it.
Yeah I played some of it on PSP but well my PSP got abannonded very quickly found it a very boring handheld console. And yeah I do remember the game looking horrible on the PSP lol but still even though they did update this (looks like they might have pulled some assets from the FF7Remake in the environment) the cutscenes still look smudge which is a bit sad. I had no clue it was just a remaster (like has been stated by others in the thread already), normally I do not buy remasters because I find them lazy and cashgraby and I don't want to support that but oh well. Yes ingame the graphics are crisp/sharp and smooth 120 FPS etc but when it turns to cutscene all detail is lost and it just looks smudged.
so true. ;)
