While 2 threads have already been taken down due to pro-censorship accounts derailing the conversation with topics around age (please avoid this). I still believe it is important for people to know what kind of censorship/self-censorship they will be supporting if they buy this game.

For this point the 2 comparisons that you should look at are, 2007 Tifa, and 2022 Tifa in the comparison above. It doesn't take the sharpest eye in the west to spot the "Black Bermuda Triangle" going on at Tifa's cleavage area on the 2022 version. The REASON this matters and why you should care, is not because booba is a good thing that makes the world happy, (although it does) you should care because it was NOT the artists at Square Enix that wanted this change, but the ethics department that forced them to cover Tifa just as they did in FF7 Remake as this quote shows: “The ethics department at Square Enix also said we had to tighten her chest so it doesn’t look unnatural during all the intense fighting. Because of that we added black thigh highs and tank top.”-Tetsuya Nomura

While it's still ultimately your decision whether or not you buy the game or wait for a sale, I still want people to know what they're supporting. The only language that the corpos speak is money, so vote with your wallet and support artistic freedom by NOT purchasing the game.

If that's true, then you have a point. But from the sounds of it, CERO and SE's ethics department are both in need of a rework. When it comes to localisation (which is constantly becoming a bigger and bigger issue) I know that that (in the case of Nintendo of America) they constantly remove wording that they deem problematic for western audiences. Personally it would be nice to sit in on these meetings to get a grasp on who is asking whom to do what.

I'm under no illusion that Japan is a super based land where anime is the way of life and everyone is happy. Much as it's a nice place to visit, I would never want to work and live there. That being said, let's not pretend that the west (specifically America) isn't at fault for the whole concept of woke, and spreading that bs all over the world.

You're still trying to justify Tifa showing without that triangle, though. Whether we like it or not, this is the image she shows of herself in the game while SE could as well have censored that design yet didn't (Yet). And your argument is "Cloud's memories can't be evidence".

Mayor, I respect your opinions a lot but this is mental gymnastics. Memories or not, we can literally see her like this in the game. It IS the design she is showing off. Even if Crisis Core isn't itself a memory, how do we explain the change of clothes except for "It's censored"

Positive eugenics is different from negative eugenics. While the bit on my profile isn't to be taken very seriously, I still believe it is an interesting subject. Also, you should know I'm also a Proud Robophobic as well (that is i dislike them) unfortunately I had to take that bit out cuz it didn't fit.
