Massive issues with online Multiplayer

From actually getting into the game to controls of each penguin online, it's a big mess right now. My friend and I are having trouble even managing to both join the same game without the controls going funny. Some help, please?

I can confirm that this is true. Me and my friend are having the same problem. Both players can't play with controller

Friend and I are also experiencing this issue. We could connect and saw what was happening on screen, but the connecting player's controls would not register.

Haha, yeah. It's pretty buggy getting into everything but it's still a fun time. The biggest issue I was having with my friend was that the latency was sometimes half a second when we had 15-30 ping.
