Very fun, but too difficult
Super fun game! Played with my buddy over Remote Play (input delay was rough), we had a blast, but we couldn't get past one part and we stopped playing the demo because of that. Perhaps in the final game, it can be easier for longer so that players can have more time "just being a penguin" hopping around, swinging, etc through the mountains before getting technical.

I completely agree. I played with my gf and could not pass through a certain part. It needs to be easier for longer or at least have an easy mode.

It has assist options to make the game easier, you even have an infinite jump option. We can't make it easier

Tried the demo alone. Got pretty far up by my own standards. I had to rage quit after falling down not because I'm bad, but because I don't know how to reach a certain platform and the game mechanics fail to inform me what the exact move is. Being the very first level, it shouldn't be one that makes you go back to the bottom on failing a jump. that's unnecesarily punishing IMHO even if later on it will be the norm.

tl;dr: Tutorial/1st level could be friendlier, at least in SP.

Sure you could. Your easy mode versions suck. It either makes the game pointless, or it doesn't help in the right ways. And increased jump distance, increased momentum gain from swinging, would solve most casual players issues with this game. Just refunded this because my wife isn't coordinated enough to succeed, and infinite jump mode made her upset because it just let us bypass everything.

Thanks for the feedback, the current version of the Assist Mode tries to help players by decreasing the game's punishment (and even skipping some parts with infinite jumps if the game is too hard) but some of your suggestions are definitively interesting and worth looking at.

I'm thinking options to adjust gravity by -/+ 0.01, and increase or remove the timers on things like wall climbing/holding for Normal mode, and enable those timers for Hard mode.

Playing this with my son and it’s fun but insanely frustrating. The checkpoint option is ok but the infinite jump option feels like a joke. Why don’t you add an option for higher jumps? Or more impulse on swing? Or be able to climb the wall once I’m hanging there? This are climbers! You don’t even get visual help for the swings in coop like when you are throwing the rock. Let me pickup the other penguin and throw him! And then when the platforms start to move this cute penguin game gets nasty. Hope an update is coming to fix this (playing on switch)

This, the game its pretty fun but insanely difficult for casual players, we couldnt advance almost anything with my gf lol
