Fix Remote Play

Not sure how, but me and my friend were never able to get remote play to work. I am not sure why this is broken, our stubborn asses tried trouble shooting for like 30+ minutes and could not get it to work. Please fix :)

make sure both of you disable the hardware support thingy at steam remote play settings. Encountered this for 1hr just now, it works already :D

yeaaaaahhhh... mine doesnt work either. They should add it to the game itself so we didnt have to do this ♥♥♥♥ xDD

Sorry to hear that, sadly there's nothing we can really do to improve how Steam Remote works, it's on Steam. But you can try other methods like Parsec if you have trouble with Steam remote play.

Thanks for your response! I have never had steam remote play issues. I think it may be the game thinking the Bread (the streamer) is on keyboard, and the Fred (still the streamer) is on their controller. Therefore, the person who is joining remote play, is unable to join.

I also have this problem that my friend and I tried to connect through the Steam Remote and after several attempts only once we could connect but she could never move, it didn't let her move neither with the keyboard nor with her play controller.

yeah, same here. I could onl¡y make it work on keyboard, one using awsd and the other the arrow keys

I mean, yes. But we tried to play another game on Remote play together and it did work. We open Bread and Fred again and it didn't. So. it's obviously an issue with the game, since we could use Remote Play with other games.

I entered single player first then went back to multiplayer and it worked. Was having the same issue for the first 20 minutes launching the game

I think part of the issue is that, at least in my experience, any controllers you use have to be plugged in before starting the game for it to work. But with remote play, the controller doesn't get "plugged in" until the other person connects, after the game is started.
