The game crashes my PC

Sometimes, after I finish my playthrough and log out, my PC screen freezes, and the whole machine stops working. I have to restart my computer to used it again, and it's very annoying.
And, the problem isn't my PC, cause it has MUCH more than needed to run the game.
Can anyone help me out on this?

if you alt+f4 to quit the game, remember to completely kill the game from task manager or the MHUR page in library. if you forgot, there should be signs that some programs suddenly crash, so quickly kill MHUR.

it's been here for a long time, i'm not sure why they haven't fixed this problem.

So, all I need to do is to make sure that the game is not running on the Task Manager, right? But, what if I fail? Does alt+f4 work as an instant Kill Signal?

alt+f4 just doesn't turn your game off properly, then it will very quickly leak alot of memory.

even if u close it normaly its still running for a long time just always make sure to close the game from steam after exiting the game :burozombie:

This also happens to me I was getting errors in chrome about not having enough memory and it would crash or other stuff I opened afterward would crash. I have 32gb of ram and was confused and thought my computer was dying until I found all this out lol
