The popup doesn't say this will happen if you quit, new players that don't know what's allowed have to guess when it's ok to quit, if they can even figure out there's an issue with quitting at all.
And when you get banned, the game doesn't have a counter, a timer, nothing, you don't even know you're being punished for something you had no idea was supposed to be wrong, you don't even know when you can get back and start playing the game again, all you'll see is a dead lobby, matches that take forever to start and when they do you're just fighting a bunch of bots.
It's no wonder the system killed the game, any reasonable person finding himself playing alone with a bunch of bots once every 15 minutes as they sit in an empty lobby would conclude the game's dead and uninstall.
Such as:
If the entire team dies instantly and we quit a match that have just started, is there a penalty for being super bad?
If the entire team is downed and crawling, is it ok to quit?
If the last guy is downed and it's outside of the safe zone, can we quit now?
If your team is alive and fighting but you died far away from the safe zone, and nobody can get your card, can you quit?
If the third guy quits on your team, and you're still in the lobby, can you quit and look for another full team?
If your entire team crashes, as it usually happens, the instant you find a lobby, do you get penalized?
No idea, the game won't tell me anything, so I have to sit and wait if I want to be safe, and if I ♥♥♥♥ up, I won't know either, is the game dead? Is everyone asleep? Or am I shadow banned again? No idea. When is the punishment over? Again, no idea.
there are already plenty of those for shadowbans
I'd be surprised if anyone who doesn't know about the shadowban which the game doesn't tell you anything about didn't imediatelly quit the game, and I'd bet most players are going to face this situation almost imediatelly after starting this game. Yeah, I'd bet real money this is the main reason the game's dying.
I agree. There are few people playing the game. There are (currently) two queues available. Now add the fact that shadowbanned people go into their own, separate queue. Now we have to wait longer because there are less people around. We have to wait to get:
• crashing teammates (thx Aizawa :D)
• dc'ing teammates
• clueless teammates
and what about the shadowbanned people? They have to wait. Even longer than we do. So what stops them from just changing game altogether?
This system killed the playerbase. I cannot wait 8 minutes to get in a match
I'm shadowbanned right now and I don't even quit until ALL of my teammates are dead. I don't even know what is going with all of this. I just want to play the game. but it seems like I can't even play the game unless I go into a bot match.
For me the game just "stops" at 7/8 teams in the prelobby. After that, i need to wait AGES to find the last team.
Perhaps it's a bug? i don't understand.
2. that person downed and still out of the safe zone is still considered alive so no, don't leave just yet.
3. no, you shouldn't quit. because your team is still alive.
4. if still in the lobby, this hasn't been tested around yet but there shouldn't be any penalties on that part yet as the match hasn't started yet.
5. no, i dont think it should. as the match hasn't started yet.
more information i have regarding this matter that i just let people know is just here:
