I main Supports, healers, and instant revive characters. They povide thew most value to a team the is not raw damage.

IN SHORT. I am tired of needing to THIRST SWEAT kills in ranked to Grind Elo.

This is not a case of get good. Its a simple case of Shoto's, Midoria's, and Bakugo's Straight up KILL STEALING in high elo, and masking it as "Helping confirm kills"

Shooting someone I just downed, That I am trying to finish off for shields/my own kills is not helping. ITS KILL STEALING.

It seems the community has kinda coddled this behavior. And all I have to say is KEEP THAT ENERGY.

Because before you know it. Your support who basically pocket revives you. So that you may keep your kills high and damage high. Those supports are gonna drop support for my Kill Confirming Characters.


Why play Irbara when her hair takes at least 3 instances to confirm a kill.

Why play Asui? Cant kill confirm with tongues, that's my mobility. Gimping myself for a kill. AWESOME

Cant play Cementoss - his cement literally bones everyone. Making Kill stealers angry unless your instant box rezzing them.

Cant Play Lida - Because 2 full combos of kicks is required for a kill. By then Bakugo stole that after your first combo

Cant play Kendo - Cause while your blocking your team from projectiles, the Bakugo in the back is thirsting the kill you just CLAPPED. while your keeping him alive.

Why Play ( Insert anyone here with a slow, even if powerful attack, or anyone who doesn't have some form of insta down blender.


And the argument ~ "Oh its just you being bad. You get ELO on assists and wins. HAHAHA cry baby cant confirm kills." Cool story bro, thats a lie. Kills DIRECTLY Give the most for Elo. Assists are a fraction of that. EVEN WINS don't count for much ELO. If WINS GAVE 200-500 ELO NO MATTER WHAT. I wouldn't Complain. But ive supported games. Where people get 7+ kills and 6k+ damage. We won. And I went +21 - Because I was too focused on keeping my team alive and SUPPRESSING the other teams to stop my bakugos from dieing.

Ive won games with 0 kills and have damn near lost elo. Just because I'm not sweating kills.


Which brings me to the title today. IM HAVING KILL STEALING ISSUES IN 3 STACKS WITH COMS.

If you keep stealing our kills. Your supports will stop supporting and start thirsting.

-PUSHING GROUPS FOR NO REASON

-OVERALL LESS COMS (They arent happy to be playing with you)

- Passive aggressiveness

- Losing the drive to play. ( walking instead of running and overall making dumb plays)

-NOT REZZING TO THIRST KILLS.

- TAKING ADVANTAGE OF WHEN YOUR DOWN TO FARM KILLS

Honestly the list can go on. And call me a Crazy all you want. But if you want your INSTA REZZES. You need to treat me better bro. Share the kills. After 1 or 2 kills per person. THEN GO CRAZY. DAMN as a support ive even fed kills to teammates because I'm more prioritized on healing up/watching our surroundings for third parties.

You on the other hand. Are so far up your own ass. You don't even realize your being Selfish AF in a TEAM GAME. With tentative excuses. ♥♥♥♥ off. If I really wanted Elo. ID LOAD IN SOLO WITH LIDA AND COLLECT 100 ITEMS PER GAME FOR 1000K ELO. Im making a choice to play with others. So make the choice to be a reasonable teammate and stop embodying "Awe bro if I don thirst them they gonna get up bro" Again ♥♥♥♥ off bro.

I'm done supporting you for the night.


TLDR: Screw Bakugos. I'm tired of supporting you, And I'm actively going to stop Insta reviving you. Share ills. Or I will let you play this like the SOLO game you think it is.

I honestly believe that a large portion of the playerbase does not know that performing a finishing blow restores your shields. When I play in trios with comms, we constantly prioritize letting whoever has low shields get kills, and if we're all good, we give the kills to whoever has the least damage potential on the team, since if push comes to shove and we need to quickly kill off a downed enemy mid-fight, chances are the kills are gonna go to our bakugou, deku, todo, etc. So we make sure our characters with less burst damage are getting some kills too.

TLDR; I'm a Strike main and I approve this post, feed your supports

I feel you. I play mostly reds and yellows and I try to let my supports downkill people for shields and such because I know when I play supports you barely get any points for ranking up and it sucks. meanwhile, a bakugo can just snipe people from miles away and barely even do well and still go positive even with just 1 or 2 kills with how much damage they output. I think the system needs an overhaul. Especially because people can leave before you downkill them to make sure you don't get those points. that is honestly so scummy and shouldn't be an option.

I get annoyed when doing the takedown on an enemy and your teammates see this and don't care, they just start killing the player you're already doing makes no sense and rob the kill, that's what annoyed me

Wouldn't mind either of the two:
- Have the point system's weights change depending on your *role*. A Striker should get more points for dealing damage, since that's what they're supposed to do, but other roles might get more points from revivals, saving Citizens, giving item support, taking damage / initiating fights - you get the idea.
- Alternatively, keep the system as-is, but have an extra category which changes depending on your *character*. A Kendo doing her job by shielding (and occasionally punishing with rocks / clap) gets punished point-wise, so why not have her get points from preventing damage in addition to the occasional damage / KO?

The devs could put a system in place that takes some effort, or one that takes almost no effort. Which system do you think they will use?

The answer is none! Because THAT is the no effort solution!

Another easy solution is to make the player that is down during a takedown immune to other damage so the player doing the takedown can finish the animation and secure the kill for themselves

Yes, there are definitely certain situations in which you want the downed enemy to die ASAP. Most of the time, those kills go to your Bakugou or Todoroki, or whoever has high damage projectiles.

However.

There are a LOT of Strike/Assault players that will just mindlessly mash attacks on a downed opponent even when there's low/no risk of them escaping, because they are greedy and just want to kill things.

In those moments, you should always let your other teammates get the kill, either to recharge shields or to make up for the fact that they cannot secure kills during intense fights. Look after your teammates, and they will look after you. Unless they're greedy idiots.

Totally agree... The problem isnt the kill steal... the problem is that only your damage counts to climb up ranked. Whats the point of playing tanks or support? Forces everybody to play bakugo do 4 shots, die and next game for rank up. Meanwhile you do 10000 plays and does not get points because only the damage is count. Its dumb.

Ngl lie bro if you wanna be support and confirm your kills if you got Momo you basically got easy access to kill confirms.
as a fellow support main, I don't even know if its possible to reach ace playing only support because of how this game rewards selfish plays over all else. I understand your frustration but realize this game is designed against playing support, just straight up if you want rank; you have to thirst because even if the game knocks you out after a couple fights it and you don't win it will boil your performance down to damage, and ko. It seems like nothing else matters.

I stopped playing ranked at pro 4, it feels so bad having to steal every kill if you want to climb to ace rank.

And people are starting to retire before you KO them so you don't get points.

Just avoid ranked until they rework it.
