Gold? Can be used to buy certain outfits, voice lines and emotes. There's also banners to display (which also costs gold if you want to broadcast them to anyone in the main menu).

Not the most valuable resource to be stockpiling, but hey, gallery pieces are a thing. Gotta get that Mt. Lady loading screen!

Honestly though they should let us use gold as an alternate way to do the gacha, like how Breakers lets people use the in-game currency of Zeni.

still, most of people played csgo for its fps genre and the feel of competitive/adrenaline rush. Ofc they maybe spend a little for skins, but nevertheless you can't win game with just skin, right?

the real useless currency are those key pieces. And there's 3 of them. To unlock low resolution screenshots from the anime for your loading pleasure. Why this needed another grindable currency is beyond me.

You can buy Mt. Lady's "Let's be bosom buddies!" emote with gold.
