Dabi need buff

Actual Dabi is so weak, that's no make any sense.
The Alpha Quirk is very weak and slow. They have a track? Yeah, but is very easy to evade with ctrl or using a wall. Shoto has more damage and longe shots, Bakugo has more damage, and can pierce two enemies in just a shot. Dabi? He has a slow track, lol.
The Beta Quirk is ok.
And the Gama Quirk can be usefull, but if you get a high ground you can shot your projectiles in a Dabi.
The R is pure garbage. Just newbies go for V ending in Dabi, everyone just shot a mid range and this R is useless.

Dabi is a Suppression character. Meant to lay down cover fire, Not all in like shoto. thats why hes technical. Not really any of the other classes.

I understand they don't want Dabi to be as damaging as some others, but the lack of mobility and slow projectile that just gets outranged and does 50% of Bakugo's laser shots is wild. Even his traps don't feel amazing. And yeah, R is useless, Dabi literally doesn't have an R while actually alive and you just get hitstunned so even if someone does get close, you can't use it =w=

Obviously, Dabi isn't as good as Bakugo but he's not a bad character. You don't have to aim and you have your protection field. You're a support DPS character who's strength is field control.

Play to your advantage. I always use Last zones as a way to judge characters at there strongest and Dabi as a character is very good in last zone like Shigaraki. Early game both of them will struggle. But late game they shine very well (Unless there's a Mt Lady or Cementoss as they're both superior at field control but bad match ups will happen no matter what).

After 100 hours i see Dabi as a solid B ranked character outside final zones. Final Zone solid A.

As for him not having an R, alot of characters don't have R's tbh. Dabi as a character forces the opponent to change there playstyle cause his R exists. Atleast its better than Toga's R lol

I will say Debi's R isn't so much a noob trap as it is a potential guarantee you can still help even when downed. I have no idea if he can be revived during its use, but him being one of the characters I'm more comfortable with I've definitely escaped hairy situations because of it. Not every character will fit your play style. I like zone control characters and basically hate characters that constantly attempt high speed melee or focus entirely on their ability to eliminate threats.

Though yeah there are a good number of characters that really don't have an R. At least his is somewhat useful in the form of turning him into a living landmine. It could be as bad as Ochoca and your R literally being more detrimental to your continued survival than a bad cementose while also being more limited in use than it even is canonically for no reason.

You comparing assault class with suppression class... They dont have the same battlefield role.

Been playing mainly dabi and other than no movement buffs he is really strong.
Support your teams assault or draw enemies in, lay traps. Bait them...

Dabi is not really a 1v1 guy, keep that in mind..

They really need a tire class to tell you the difficulty level of each character.

Dabi is hard level while bakugo is easy.

with dabi you have to think 2 steps ahead , you cant just no brain rush in.

You're just not playing him well, he's a zone controller and his melee attacks are fast, just spam it and use your right click when you're in a safe place.

Well, the tip to use the melee attacks should be for every character, melee attacks are broken and nobody uses it... Maybe if it wasn't in the V key...
