I can’t believe people moaning about “monetisation” they remind me of the freaks that leave negative reviews on steam for thinking you have to pay to get stuff in this game rather then actually learning how it works and seeing how wrong they’re..

I feel bad for this game because 90% of negative reviews on steam is people not knowing how anything works and just assuming you have to pay for everything 💀 not to mention this.. look what you can earn in this game by just playing.. vs what you can earn from Fortnite by just playing, absolutely nothing. Ultra rumble > Fortnite

Oh, not all of us go at it like that. I am very much aware of how it works. It is still an incredibly hard pill to swallow when it can take anywhere from 30 to over 70 multi's to obtain a character ticket if you lack the luck. And having to wait for 2 weeks to be able to enjoy a newly introduced character to the fullest on top of that also really dumbs down the excitement behind a them.

its a character based game relating it to apex makes more sense, of which you can earn every character for free in apex. In ultra rumble every new character will be released through gacha, so sure rn 75% of characters can be earned, but seeing as a roll banner will be at least every month, t hat will change very quickly, and getting 1 character from the pity system is about $400, so yeah people have a right to be mad. spending money in fortnite doesen't change gameplay, whereas it definitely does in this game. And then if we are being honest the game just launched, meaning this is probably the most amount of free stuff we are gonna get till like a 1 yr anniversary, i doubt the next event will have as many crystals in it, and odds are they're gonna use whatever the newest character is for the mission.

Yeah, its funny grind tickets to get the skin from a unplayable character, and so to get a x10 draw you need to pay the premium login reward to wait 7 days to get 70 tickets, wich depends on your luck if the game doesn't bugg itself and give the reward (my case, I have 2 days in a row without getting the premium rewards because of that bugg)

How likely is it for someone to quit once they figure out they cannot main the character they want for potentially months? There is such a thing as having to wait too long, this is not healthy for a game of this nature. You might put up with it because you enjoy a bunch of other characters but if you don't or get tired at some point and you don't have any resources you are screwed.

a better compare would be genshin impact if you ask me except theres good 90% rate on getting higher stars for custom and you dont have to spend a expense on it,i only made a bad review cuz they should update their minimum requirements and stuff like that i found some bugs during my first playtime

Update since I'm sure none of you play this game anymore, it got worse, the Character Tickets no longer unlock new characters. There's a select pool of old characters they're usable on, from my understanding, and that pool only extends up to Mirio, meaning there are like 5 characters exclusive to rolls and counting, plus every quirk set. Save up to 2000 tickets, get lucky, or fork over like $400 are your only choices now.
