What's wrong with being a high level? :(
If anything. It doesn't show that they "tore everyone up" because of the character. But more that they have the experience in the game to do so.
Currently I'm level 48 and main Tsuyu, mr.compress and kendo. And I can solo win lobbies with all 3 (and the badges to prove it). Including against Bakugos. Though ofc doesn't change that they are just an insanely strong character.
it's odd in 2023 to still call people "sweats" for just being better.
The problem is when they start playing with "friends" who just happen to also be an elite player.
Almost as bad as HOTS, where i literally played against people with level 18273, while i played for a YEAR and was lv 100 or something. Only difference... players with 5 digit levels were farm bots... because the level literally ONLY represents your played time, and they were online 24/7
this is one of the major problems of battle royals.
and sweats don't like being teamed with new players so they form a sweat squad that curb stomp every one.
I have seen it so many times.
But before I get ranty. It's a game where level dictates experience in a game, not skill. And who cares if a duo friend group (or even strangers for that matter) decided to go into a team comp that benefits them.
That being said. I do hope Bakugo and Deku (arguably Shoto as well but not as much) get a nerf to their ranged attacks in someway in the next balance patch. It's too strong for how many shots they have and the fire rate. Especially Deku in the so called "tank/brawler" class
I never saw this in any other game ever before. ESPECIALLY when you make teams, the other games i played made very sure to have people near your level. Also, even HOTS seperated teams and solo players... Except ofc when there were 4 player teams... they obviously then got 1 random so it's 5 players, but then again, i think usually you would then ALSO fight against a team of 4 + 1 random.
This sounds just unfair and NOT well thought out at all. MOBA matchmaking tries to be fair. Do all Battle Royal games have such a terrible matchmaking? I guess yes, since it's mostly little children playing them, and we all know that they can't wait 10 seconds in a queue without going full autism mode... :P
While I find this game more friendly to random parties than something like Apex. Doesn't change that any team based game is phenomenally different in experience when you're with friends. Sucks but it's just how they do their quick restarts. Apex was a quick example for me since when i first started i got flung into a lobby that had high ranks in it while i just unlocked ranked xD
Though ofc I probably wouldn't recommend comparing a F2P BR to a MOBA of any kind.
You just control one guy, who has like 3 attacks who gets stronger over time, you have cooldowns and mana and an ultimate attack...
What you control is basically the same. Only difference, instead of playing a well programmed and fun game mode, they just throw you onto a garbage map and let bad players play the living targets for good players...
I don't understand why this is a "Battle Royale"...
Pokemon was like "Hey, we are watched by kids, lets make a super easy to understand game with almost no buttons!"
And what did the MHA guy think? "Hey, we are being watched by hyperactive super geniuses! Let's make a game where you have to do all the ♥♥♥♥ you have to do in other games WHILE also managing your inventory, with no breaks and let's make the buttons so confusing, that by the time you leave your inventory, you are dead!"???"
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??? I WATCH ANIME!!! I CAN'T DO FREAKING 200 ACTIONS PER SECOND!!!
Just let me freaking shoot some npc or something!
Feels so bad that there is this cool engine, with cool characters, cool attacks, cool graphics, but then you can't play it, because the actual game is trash!
Edit: Also really nice that they puinish you for playing against NPC, you can't make ANY progress when you play against the AI. In all the other games i played, you usually played against the AI so you would NOT ruin real games, when you do your dumb "play 3 games with Buttlord Crapmaster" quest.
This is like if you compared CoD to R6 Siege. Or Mario kart to Forza.
Or if we go into a direct understanding. It's like comparing Heroes of the storm, to Fortnite, Apex, Warzone. They are completely different genres and games with completely different audiences.
I get the idea is you feel a similarity. But doesn't mean there is one. Basically all I can say to it since I'm trying to see a connection that you're making but I absolutely don't understand it. You're kinda asking me why can't you compare String to noodles because they both are long and thin.
Stop trolling. I am right and you know it. It's no dicussion, i listed the FACTS.
