If you quit your team without being revived, why even play?

Like it's a team game, and just cause you messed up hard and died cause you overestimated something or wasn't paying attention or just suck, why then cripple your team by being a total douche and leave? Why not play with CPU's? Or training?
Or another game?

I'm legit curious why.
Since you can be revived, so you're just giving up and choosing to be a liability cause you have a skill issue?



And I ask cause this isn't some uncommon thing.
100% of my random allies quit upon death
I've watched randoms quit streamer teams when I was watching for the twitch drops.
Everyone just quits instead of actually trying to win?

the revive system needs a buff.
1. you need three cards to revive a teammate
2. you need to summon them
3. they revive with no powerups or items

and considering a level 9 attack can do 500+ damage in a couple of seconds, people revived have no chance in a fight if revived late in the game. It's better to leave and restart. That's why you see it so much. That's not including sometimes getting bad teammates.

The only explanation I can think of is that they're just impatient to hop back into the game.

Like it's one thing to quit if your team doesn't or can't pick up your token before it's covered by the expanding poison or everyone gets fully downed, but quitting as soon as you get downed and not even waiting for the fight to finish to see what your team does just sabotages them.

Whats especially irksome is the people who choose to spawn like several zones away from the team and immediately quit after getting downed because they got gangbanged by one of the teams between you and them leaving you a teammate short right from the start.

well if the respawn token dissapears (because of a bug) then what else can i do?. on a real note i only leave if whole team gets downed and start loosing hp (aka enemy remembers that players can pick themselves back up)

you can win with a late summon especially if you have shooty mc shoot mates anyway
leaving is "ok" i think only if you either
A : are already 1 or even 2 waves in the purple circle = he wont get your token and you wont get rezzed so why pretend .
B : your last teammate got downed

See I main Tenya, so getting cards and escaping is easy for me.
Heck I can easily hide while someone opens the large chest and then sprint through and steal the revive cards.
But there's no one to revive :<

so you telll me you go 2 full phases into the purple ring ( outside the arena that damages you ) and go then back in and can revive as if lol
if you want to revive people you dont wait till their token is out of the arena for 2 whole phases before you get it no matter your mobility

cause i dont trust the team to actually res, and i aint about to waste my time waiting to find out if i was wrong or not.
I play for my satisfaction, not others.
dont play cpu because its to easy.

that said, i dont play ranked in many games. if i did maybe id take it more serious.

i guess the commment is meant for ranked games since this happens to me as well usually a bunch of times per day if people spawn into 6 enemys they instantly initiate a fight against a team by themself die and leave even if it is ranked so ... but also some of the times its just literally the game that crashes i would guess arround 10 - 20% of those are crashes

TLDR:: We would have won if our Todo didn't quit immediately.



I felt this comment. We were the last phase in circle when our team got downed in the typhoon zone. Our team consisted of Iida, Todoroki, and Mt. Lady. Iida managed to pick up a revive card and the Todo's token before getting downed outside circle. Todo had no faith in our Iida and left immediately. I stayed because I had a little faith (but also mostly wanted to see how it played out). The enemy basically left him to die outside zone instead of finishing him off, he barely just made it out of there and managed to get into zone enough to pick himself up. It was a 1v3. That man fought hard and downed 2 of them, but the fight with them left him too weakened to win against the remaining Denki. If that Todo had stayed, there was a good chance we would have won. Sadly I can't blame the Todo for leaving. Our entire team was down outside zone on last phase and the enemy team consisted of Vine Lady, Deku, and Denki.

I'll quit a match if teammates are thieving rats. I open gold box and teammate hovers over me to take everything? Scumbag. I knock down a player and they rush in to steal my kill? Screw off. I KO someone and they snatch level up? Get out. Especially when they're on levels 5-9 and all my skills are 1-3. I don't rush to their aid, and I don't stay in the match when I go down. I despise thieving rat teammates, so I will go full out petty. I'll even suicide in the gas to waste their time, or tag items they need then pick them up to troll them. I don't respect thieving scumbag rats, so I don't hang about.

I don't leave, but it would be great if there was a far better reward than a measly 50 score added for 50 cheers. Maybe the cheering can contribute to a percentage of your rewards at the end of the match. 100 cheers = 1% bonus to all rewards. and 999 cheers = 9.99% bonus. Not EVERYONE will care about such bonuses, but it's better than nothing
