crystals, coins, tickets, stars, black pearls, this, that. More currency than the EU combined. Admit it, it took you a while to work out how to actually unlock/buy a character, and you probably still don't know what to do with the other stuff.

Lazy creativity, just turn every game into a battle royal, don't need to make an in depth game as this generation has a short attention span (tiktok, YouTube shorts)

Well Blizzard is dead more or less, BDO is not for everyone.
But well look at Elden ring, lies of p, grim dawn, baldurs gate, and well even many anime themed games including many indie new comers.

Of course games run in a wrong direction but B2P is still somewhat safe, the most wait for some streams to make sure it doesn't involve any scam before they buy them
