How to pick up knocked down teammate ?

In the tutorial we can actually pick our teammate, but somehow when in the game it just revived them instead

It's exclusive to Deku, it says that in the tutorial.

Also Iida. Others characters, like Cementoss, Asui, and Shiozaki can revive them instantly on place. But, also be careful not revive them when enemy still around unless you wanted to tagged as a "troll".
