you're playing too cautiously
come join my team we will win
play for KOs with bots a few times, and then treat every game you play like that
B) Play and do wacky stuff. Go for that greedy kill, do some bamboozles, use some quirks in ways you normally wouldn't. The points are stupid stuff, for now, kills are everything. So, don't play ranked, ignore points, play to be supoortive and have fun.
Also, learn what quirks really do. Like, Ochako's tornado is a Hold move, you will spin as long as you hold the key, but also is a proyectile move at the end. If you don't have your alpha quirk, just hold the beta quirk for a moment and launch some rubble. Some moves have stupid synergies or properties, do not be discouraged to learn more or use VS CPU if you need.
Grinding too hard is bad for your mind and spirit. Don't take it as a job, just do whatever you want
Bakugo and Deku are the lowest skill ceiling characters rn, but they also depend on how well you aim, so avoid them if you suck at aiming.
Dabi is a good character to pick if you want to still try shooting targets from afar but with less the effort since his projectiles track targets, you can also disengage enemies by putting traps while running.
Mt Lady is also a pretty easy character to play, you have mobility using E, Q hits pretty wide, and her projectile is good, you just need to know when is a good time to go big but other than that, you can just use her as a midrange combat character that's pretty mobile.
Other easy to learn mobile character is probably Iida, E makes you go fast but causes you to stall your engine if you let it run out, but your projectile and Q is also another movement option with a pretty huge hurtbox, You can run up walls to run away from enemies by default. Spin kick combos to itself and you can end it with E if the enemy recovers in midair.
Last option, just getting good. I don't expect you to just play better overnight, but knowing a bit more of the game's mechanics and accustoming yourself to dodging every incoming attack, in/out of Dabi's flames, behind structures, or out of Shiggy's zones may help you play better.
I recommend always grabbing a Blue and Green card even though you don't use those specific roles, Blue cards allow you to run faster and up walls when active, and Green cards heal you and party members near you.
Also actually try out characters in the training mode, it lets you use every character, adjust your enemies, bring friends in to learn team combos, try out a 1v3 scenario vs bots, etc etc.....
"skill issue" seems like you dont have money for any other games friend
the greatest asset in this game is your teammates, not cards not upgrade.
Or by playing ranked because everyone there seems to know what they are doing (Ace rank at least). Unranked is not fun. Ever. At least for me
