I did update the game. Even verified the game after the crash and it found missing files which it got. Tried starting the game again after that was downloaded and it crashed the whole gpu driver for good. for QUITE some time. was forced to hard shutdown the entire rig.
Custom build with a Ryzen 3950X, RTX 3070, 32gb of ram, Windows 11 Pro insider build.
Don't think Win 11 will have any say as there have been no issues about it so far with any game before this.
Also running in 4K HDR
Only gpu usage though, 3D and Video Encode on the gpu specifically, nothing on the decoding side on there. But that still doesnt explain why it crashed after that, after i killed my encode... which it did. Weird one.
EDIT: note renpy games normally does not have issues with that at all in my experience. Even now, resuming my encode does not have a say in your game booting and running here.
Needed to enable dev mode under desktop in the Nvidia Control Panel then turn on Allow access to the GPU Performance Counters.
Will report back if this is not the case after all.
I like the game and i just want that works, but cant get help from Steam suport.
Please help me out.
Thanks
If verify files after crash, Steam reload 122 files (around 1,5 Mb) but it didn't help - another start, another crash.
Windows 10 Pro x64; i5 10400, 32Gb, nVidia RTX 3080 Ti, game on SATA SSD.
