Not sure if one can make larger maps 'by hand'.
How is this done?
Click on Mods
******* New Game Options *******
--mapw=NBR Width in squares for random maps (default 50)
--maph=NBR Height in squares for random maps (default 36)
Ah thanks!
Thanks this seems to work best and you can see the maps you create before you play them. Don't touch the map settings though. I thought you had to do this to add all of the planes but it just crashes your game. Not sure what that is for?
Can someone make a mod for 90x90 maps doing this? Have tried to get this to work but cannot...
See this random screenshot if you are lost :

Example, write this :
--mapw=90 --maph=60
Then play the game, but be aware : do NOT click any size at map creation, leave it blank, and it will be as set. You can of course change 90 and 60, but i think the current maximum is 90, and i prefer not-squared maps, so 90*60 is fine for my taste, with 3 to 6 AI. I like to have room to explore.
OHH. I was trying to make a mod in the mod folder. Did not know this is what was meant by command line...
Edit that & run the game from there.
I have made some and quickly forfited the match to reveal the map and it was all there, but while in game I feel like it zoomed in on one section of it that was equal to the map size I selected.
Also, you have to be very careful with the proper settings when loading or it crashes.
I tried to walk a character to each end but it was problematic lol.
Anyway, thank you in advance and I appreciate any and all replies.
--mapw=110 --maph=140
150 for height is too high
120 for width is too wide
