Suddenly defeated as warlock

Had a small army with archers, an warlock and an apprentice. Pressed 'y'. Lost. Could at least we get a glimpse of the event that prompted the defeat?

Was your starting citadel empty? If so you probably lost because some sort of random bit of wildlife wandered in. 1st rule of CoE. Never, ever leave your starting citadel undefended.

While I've lost before due to that, this time there was no message asserting that

So I just happened to catch this the other day. I am new and was playing a warlock. He cast flame sky or something that has a large AoE......he cast it on himself (or close by) and...well...he killed himself. The event did make me chuckle though.

I lost an army earlier to being hit by a meteor, everything died except for a manticore because it was the only thing with over 50hp. lost a level 3 priest and several other lower hp commanders. I have no idea what prompted it but I walked into a plains and rngesus said no.

I think the "36" in the back is where the Great Warlock of Fire used to be.
