I've been waiting for multiplayer. Not really worried since IIRC Northgard also was singleplayer at first in early access before multiplayer was added so I figured you guys would do the obvious and add it, especially since it would be a crime to have a RTS/4X Dune game and NOT have it have multiplayer.
Mostly was a bit underwhelmed by unit variety numbers and that your advisors are just passive buffs. Looks like I will get pretty much all I was feeling that was missing.
And yeah, I wouldn't mind at all if Dune: Spice Wars turns out to add more factions just like Northgard got clan after clan after clan.
Yeah!, who will it be?
one of the then Original or the other 207?

I dunno. That's a crap load of houses!
I would actually love to see a poll. My guess is that most people either don't want Ordos or don't know who/what Ordos even is. People who do clamor for adding Ordos consistently mistake this game for the same franchise as the Westwood games, saying things like "Ordos were most played/popular faction in franchise", but they're just not even remotely related. This is not a continuation or a sequel, but a separate game from separate devs altogether. There's surely enough houses from Shiro's sourceable material based on canon to keep this game interesting.
Fwiw,I'm not anti Ordos or anything like that, I really have no stake in this debate, I just don't understand the expectation some people have that intellectual property from another studio will somehow be added to this game.
"House Ordos first appeared in the (non-canon) Dune Encyclopedia, but is never mentioned in any of the novels."
"They're not canon. The name originates from a list of houses in the (non-canon) Dune Encyclopedia."
And were only playable in 3 Westwood games, last one from more than a decade ago.
They were not in the other Dune games by Cryo. They are not in any boardgame of Dune.
