You’re a little freak
It's really easy to do:
1. Open Web Browser
2. Goto www.google.com in address bar
3. Type 'DUNE FONTS' where it says Search.
4. Press the 'GO' button
5. READ what it says
"Dune Fonts" on any search engine, does not yield the Dune Spice Wars' fonts. It yields "Dune Fonts" of Dune-inspired fonts. As I surmise, the fonts used for the DSW cover was made in-house. Thus, people wouldn't be able to find them on the internet.
I had that problem long long ago looking for Lord Of the Ring Rune Fonts and ended trying to make themselves myself with some freeware program I found, but it was alot of work, I doubt I even finished it.
Not 100% the DSW fonts, BUT they are similar. Also, thanks for the link. They're actually quite beautiful.
Ya, they look good enough to my eye
And the .zip has a .tff file, which should work with Windows too, but I'm not going to install them to find out - I don't know where that file has been and I'm all out of anti-virus spray :p
Nice job IonizedMercury
I tried doing the same thing in the far past, but man, they are definitely a lot of work.
Ya, definitely requires an artist hand and patience....
And damn it Jim, I'm an Engineer not an Artist :p hehe
Something close should be good enough and anything better you'd have to steal somehow or pay a lot for.
