Don't get me wrong, I straight up don't believe a single word a paid reviewer does write, as they lie and have zero idea about games, don't even play games they write a review about.

But the thing is, people did read from several "gaming journalists" that the game has or should have "eight or nine missions – roughly 12 hours of campaign to play"
So they start to believe this written lies and misinformation.

I don't read game jouro articles either although I critically watch some Youitube streams to help inform me about a potential purchase. But reading that, I can see that:

The game DOES have a campaign.
It focusses on stand-alone battles
It is about 8-9 missions long
About 12 hours? Hmm, it takes me a bit longer than that but okay. :D

We got all that, just as described. However, as your research shows, we were not told that it would be a story-driven campaign with cut scenes. People just ASSUMED and that's the source of the complaint. They didn't get what they assumed they'd get and they're really angry about that.

I could go into detail describing the Conquest mode but these folks just don't care - there is only one type of campaign for them and that's not what they were given. It's like being told you're going to get a guitar and you're given a classical guitar but you complain that it's not an acoustic. Just like campaigns, there are different types of guitars.

Also, if people are hot for Dune2 -C&C - RA type of campaigns, one would assume they should be adult and... settled/balanced enough to check their expectations and all. But no, I see a bunch of crybabies trying to blame somebody else for their 30 y.o. fantasies not brought to life. Pathetic. I don't think any Dune faction would approve these rivers you cry.

Why would we sue anyone for stating facts? Every one of those links that you provided clearly refer to or talk about the Conquest Campaign, which is in game, features 8-9 missions per run and takes roughly 12 hours to complete.

If you click on the Conquest Mode option in the single player menu, you can find the campaign they are referring to. Happy to provide more detailed instructions on how to navigate to the Conquest Campaign if that's too vague however, let me know!
