I find massed railguns with an engineer hilarious.
Throw in a few front line units to engage and lock down the enemy, and...poof. They gone.

Vernius is actually pretty simple in terms of 'kill them all'. You just need to *NOT* melee spam.

@Schmeeda - Thanks for posting this informative video on House Vernius. I played a Kanly game against House Vernius and the AI used the patent which now that I see the cost was rather dumb programming.

It depends on how vindictive you are. Yes, you don't make a profit from doing it, but if you just have money sitting around doing nothing, it might suck up solari your opponent might have invested differently. Or it might discourage them from researching a tech they sorta need as soon as they need it.

It requires you to have strong insight into your opponents limitations, which... you can get in this game.

I had the same feelings when trying my first conquest mission as them, but by the end of the mission, I was instakilling heroes with railguns, just combine their bonuses, go for max 1 shot potential to combat their lack of HP and sustain

combined arms, use everything together, the railguns are especially good(they outrange and overpower a lot of other stuff) and don't forget your armory abilities can swing things,
