Waiting for Server Issue - Multiplayer

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to fix the following issue: I sign-on for a multiplayer game, yet once the game starts I'm stuck in the "character screen" before the game starts with a waiting for server message. After a few minutes, I'm told that the connection failed. I can either retry or concede the match. I have tried retry a fair amount of times - but it does not work...

When I play a multiplayer match with just AI opponents - there's no issues. The game plays normally in the base game as well. I haven't had any issues with other multiplayer games on Steam.... so I'm not sure what's going on.

Any ideas?

Online i found this solution:

swap server region from whatever its on now to peer to peer, it works fine then

Yeah sounds like a time out, could be your ISP or computer.
