Is there a very large memory leak in this game?
I noticed the game starts taking up around 20 gigs of memory in my pc and then crashes after a few hours of playtime every time.

20 gigs of memory is insane, the only other game i have that can reach that is anno 1800 in late game.

Haven't had any problems nor heard of such, maybe some lag when there's a large battle going on, but it starts to die down when the battle does too.

Yes, it tank the memory after a long match or a few match later on. I play conquest and about 3-4 match, the game will start to lag and freeze then crash

No issues here, although I haven't played D:SW in a bit. Folks with the problem might want to provide more details, like the actual process size over time or something about what system they are running.

Win10 vs Win11, or nVidia vs AMD GPU might make a difference....

I think I fixed it. Switched the drivers in the game's graphics settings from DirectX back to OpenGL. It's no longer consuming ridiculous amounts of memory and no fps dip.

Yes there is. It is still very present on a lot of people's systems. The best way to avoid it is if you are using Direct X switch to open GL. But hopefully they fix it eventually.
Something wierd yes, I have a 3060, ryzen 5 and 16GB ddr4 and the game crawls from 80 to 10 fps in like 10 min. Makes the game totally unplayable now and have seen many people in reddit who have the same issue. It used to run flawlessly. Seems like the developers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up their own game, how is it even possible?:D
