Not trying to troll, just wondering if you have a reason, other than "this is just wrong" :)
Doesnt really matter and I dont care either. But thx for the input. Bye.
Blue team and Red team.
Atreides and Harkonnen.
Green is a secondary color, produced by mixing Yellow and Blue. House Atreides is no secondary house and no secondary to the story. Caladan (Atreides homeworld) is a vast oceanic world. Water. Blue. House Atreides should be blue.
This isn't accurate, either. No set of 3 primary colors is capable of representing the full gamut of all possible colors. That's why printers use CMYK inks and not red/yellow/blue.
I'm happy that the developers of this game are using Frank Herbert's writings as the source rather than choosing random colors the way Westwood did.
Not that random, good guys are in blue, bad guys are in red, devious ones are in green. A very common choice of colors when indicating moral alignement.
Something by who always made me laugh about starcraft 2. Guess how you tell a good protoss from a evil one lol?
You guessed it, the evil one wears red.
Factions have color corresponding to tech tree that plays to the biggest strength of the faction.
I had the same Problem...as i Dune 2 Fan...its strange to see the Atreides in Green(Ordos),and the Smugglers in Blue(Atreides)
But in the Dune 1 Games...Atreides were Red and Harkonnens Blue...!
Easy Solution...WHY can i not CHOOSE the Colours for every Faction!?
So everyone could play with the right colours they prefer!??
That would be cool to add that to MP with the possibility to have multiple players playing the same faction in the same game. (Atreides vs Harkonnen vs another Atreides vs Fremen for example)
