It's indeed in real time but it's very, VERY, slow paced.
To understand some obscure game mechanics is going to give you more anxiety than the speed of the game, i would bet on that.
Nothing like the Age of Empires / Starcraft / Command & Conquer style of RTS.
Even slower paced than Shiro's previous game (Northgard) or fellow 4X-RTS Sins of a Solar Empire.
I like learning. The more obscure the better. Gives me more to play with before I master it and get bored.
There are not obscure mechanics i don't understand what they are talking about.
All mechanics are clear but deep
