Memory leak?
This game seems to a bonkers amount of memory if you leave it playing. I quit at 12 GB of use, loaded my save and its only using 2 GB.

Yeah getting same, mine went to 28GB and crashed multiple times in few hours of gameplay

performance must be number 1 issue to solve in this otherwise perfect game

There was patch 2 days ago, possibly fixed. It was only happning while using DirectX as render, OpenGL was working fine for me. Havent played the game yet to test.

Oh, I'll give it a shot with both. It's pretty obvious when its happening lol

EDIT: Mem leak still up for dX, does not appear to be the case for OpenGL.

Switch to openGL in the graphics menu!

Many thanks for providing this - All my games crashed recently due to mem leaks, will def try the openGl element.
But yes could not agree more, performance and stability have to be the focus now.

Switching to opengl removed the memory leakes for me!

No thanks. I want my HD color range. I'll take a stop. save. reload after an hour so over loss of that.

Hopefully the devs fix dX soon
This worked and fixed this type of crashing for me in a similar game

: Bios settings to No AI or no overclock, xmp profile to not enabled ( a setting in your bios ). These are counterintuitive as you would think a faster computer using all of its memory would be helpful. "Old world" is a CPU intensive game and again this is counterintuitive to the settings that seem to be working.
