Are fremen fedaykin bugged or not?

I've heard on multiple places that fremen fedaykin are bugged and do triple the damage that they should. However, this was all random comments and I don't know whether to believe them. My experience seems to be that they are very strong, they seem to rip right through my sardoukar. But I don't know, I'm still fairly new, so there may have been other things going on.

Are they bugged or not?
