How do you complete assassination missions?
I was on a map trying to complete the objective, but the cost of the assassination reached 100 intel and 100 solari. How to you out perform the cost?

Couple ways to do this, it is not all that intuitive (even if you do the tutorial)

Before you start the assassination mission, you likely have 2-3 infiltration cells in the enemy territories. When you start the mission, the enemy will immediately start searching for all of your cells- when he finds one, it will be gone

Also, once the mission is started, the "speed" of its progress begins at 100%, and slowly diminishes over time. You can see this speed by hovering mouse over the mission. To refresh this speed back to 100%, run an assassin into any of your infiltration cells

As you lose infiltration cells and as time goes on, the cost of the ongoing mission will increase, and keep increasing, until it reaches 100 intel and 100 solari per tick. At this point, there is no way to keep those resources banked and you will have the penalties of deficit stacking up against you... this is obviously not good. Different factions have different ways of mitigating this, but a vanilla strategy that will work for every faction is to make sure you do not lose your last infiltration cell, and keep the speed of the ongoing mission between 80% and 100%

You can do this by isolating one of the infiltration cells with your own military, and having a bank of assassins standing by to periodically refresh the speed. Just surround or otherwise cut-off an enemy village that has one of your infiltration cells in it, and any time that enemy sends a unit to try and find the infiltration cell, kill the enemy unit. From time to time, run one of your assassins in to refresh the speed. Maintain everything else as this is going on (i.e. keep your economy up, defend against raids, keep expanding/building, all the other stuff you normally do during the game)

Other stuff that will help: have your information/intel resource maxed out (1000) before you start the mission, and have a good bank of solari (at least a few thousand, depends on how vulnerable your economy is) - you don't want to run out of either one during the mission, and you know the cost is going to go up as it is going on. Have a good rate of information/intel and solari coming in (the more of each, the better... so that means strong economy, and lots of data centers, and probably lots of agents on factions producing intel). Have some of the 'special' agents that can't be captured, and if you don't have those, have agents standing by to replace agents that get captured (because they will get captured... and you want to replace agents that get captured from your target faction as soon as you can if you can... the infiltration level affects the speed/cost of the ongoing mission)

Summarised

Place 2-3 Infiltration Cells

Start Assassination

Send Assassins to the Cells to refresh the progression---(A number that decays from 100% on the assassination panel, the more the better)

Kill Enemy Units that approach the infiltration cells. They want to remove them.

When enough time passes, if you have at least 1 cell remaining, you win.

Assasinations are the easiest path to victory, unless you conquer entire map and win on CHOAM\Hegemony.
I've completed two conquests with Ecaz and Harkonen and it was the second easiest type of mission.

Steps to do:
- Don't start it early on. You will need money (for trading intel with AI opponents) Prepare but don't start the assassination until you're back at 1000 intel.
- research state craft to so you can create assassins.
- Put spy cells (preferably three for harkonen) on the border of your opponent. Conquer the territories next to it and put an airfield there.
- put an assasin in the territory next to the cell and wait.
- elevate your relations to truce if possible.
- Start an attempt. After about 50% you'll get discovered and then you'll need to watch out for percentage of your discovery (hover with mouse above the red square in assassination attempt).
- Once it goes to less than 10%, send an assasin to the cell. It resets their discovery attempt. and immediately make a new assassin and transport him to that same territory as before.
- repeat the process few times and you're good.
- if you are low on solari\intel, trade with AI.
