I mean basic Corrino army is like
6 swordsmen/riflemen stack the x5 dmg buff (upgrade from barracks)
Support by flamethrowers (cheap, short range, early armor break unit)
And artillery drones (expensive, long range mid game armor break unit, also as AA batteries)
On top of that you added Sardaukar, to execute low health enemies
Swordsmen riflemen and flamethrowers are kinda cheap so you dont mind that much if you micromanage failed and lose some of them
Keep a mix of units, use each of them appropriately, only a few stack when have more of them. Like the Ranger for Atreides.
There are some, like the Fremen infiltrator that are used once then run away. They are a real pain to use but do great dmg that first hit.
