"Working solution (for me...) : edit options.ini in steamapps\common\D4X
The line "Driver" was empty, i put "Driver = DirectX" and it works !"
This worked for me, as well...except in options.ini, "OpenGL" was the value indicated, but I changed it to "DirectX," saved and clicked on D4X and the game is working.
Thank you for the fix. I appreciate it.
Will update if anything changes.
No word about it anywhere, did everything about directx/opengl I could, game would just not launch and not a single error message or anything.
Works like a charm!
I don´t have the "options.ini" in my game folder. Also the game only uses about 3.3. GB on my SSD, is that right?
Solution that worked for me:
I had to create a text document of "options.ini" in steamapps\common\D4X that states
"Driver = DirectX" and now the game launches.
