House Guard name change

I'm curios as to what the thought was behind changing the Harkonnen House Guard name to Cerberus?
I much preferred House Guard, as sounded nicer and made more since, considering the history of nations naming their elite units Guards, you know instantly that House Guards are high tier units; likely tasked with the protection of places and nobles. It's also a name that feels more appropriate for Dune, "Cerberus" on the other hand sounds very generic to me, with no story connected to it's name, just Insert random sci-fi unit name here" Cerberus could be anything.

Do others feel this way as well?

No story connected to it's name ? Cerberus is not a generic sci-fi name, it's a a Greek mythical creature that Guarded the gates of hell. So the guard idea is here, and hell is fitting with Harkonnen theme I think.
