F*****g sandworms
Why by the hell the sandworms always eat all my armies and never, i said NEVER the AI armies. they walk everywhere without problem, the second i leave a city i have a worm for me. When will the AI take worms like human player?

Observation bias, worms do eat them too, but most of the time you won't see it, raids also get eaten often, if they are passing near harvester and it evacuates, worm will eat their army too.
in combat fronts or in my territory, I always proc worms but never the AI. In all my games (58 played) and AI never. Worms eat them if it comes and i manage to stucj them into. But when there armies come to me they never been eaten, but mine yes.

Looking only at the title, my first thought was yes, that's how new sandworms are made.
Yes, that was my experience as well. The worm appears when attacking a settlement, it spawns when my troops retreat after successfully looting a settlement or when they are about to respond to a raid in the neighbouring province. Most of the time, there is no chance of saving these troops, as they are just too far out in the desert to get back to safety. These unavoidable losses, especially early on in the game, can absolutely break you, they tend to coincide with enemy action and you have no resources to replace these troops.
Also, as Harkonnen, harvesters are eaten quite often, despite being on automatic rescue mode.
My problem is not my troop or my harvesters being eaten, but the AI don't have the same problem. For the harvesters they have sometimes a worm that crush theirs. And hornitopters effectivly help without preventing all the worms problems.
Same for the troops you see worms from far away so have the alert earlier. But earlier or not if safe spots are too far, it's game over poor soldiers. And looking for the Ai troops with good map vision (hornitopters, allied siecth with fremen, etc...) in 80 hours game i have never seen a AI troop trigger a worm.
Sandworms plus biased AI = unhappy

Insane difficulty playing as Smugglers
Fremen next to me decide to poison supplies on 1 tile - fair enough
Fast forward - I am hit on 3 adjoining tiles by poison supplies. The other 2 AI are 4+ tiles away from any of my tiles (3 empty tiles between me and harconnen and Artredies)
Why are they playing on a team??

Ok - so i run my 3 units away to the 4th tile which does not have poison affects. 2 units die to poison (they had 1/2 supplies to start with due to constant battle with Fremen).
Last unit retreating - gets a sandworm and less than 1/2 second later is eaten..hmmm
I do not see AI sending Ornithopter with their units to raid me - and and not seeing Sandworms go for him.

To add insult to injury - the Lannsrad council - there are 3 heavy penalty resolutions and all 3 get applied to me.
Get the + Cost of units applied to me so now a basic scrapper unit costs $600... This is a 400ish health unit and the opponent gets 600hp base units.

Why is the AI playing as a team? Wouldn't the Hark and Atr try and duke it with each other and 1 or 2 or the resolutions land on them?
Why are the base units imbalanced? I am all for faction diversity but the first 2 units on each faction should be closer in stats.
Having grown up playing the original dune game back in the day, it was a great game - and technically still has the potential to be... if the game mechanics weren't geared completely against you!
For instance, a sandworm that supposedly attacks because of vibration (action) on the sand - but somehow ONLY ATTACKS YOU - of course... why would it attack any of the hordes of soldiers that spend 30 mins attacking all your outposts or main base?!? Or their bases and spice harvesters?!? But as soon as you go and defend your city - BAM! oh look, there's the sandworm eating all the troops you've just spent hours playing a fine line balancing act to create from the near impossible resources you glacially get to stockpile - FX#&ING GRRRRR DEVS!! Make a fair game and it would be just as, if not more fun than frustrating!!

Observation bias at its finest.

Worms attack everyone.
Hell, its impossible for AI to save its harvesters anymore, because they don't assign thopters to them and have them constantly eaten.

I seen the AI retiring their harvester from imaginary worms. They do not suffer from the worms, they just simulate it. They can stand in the middle of the dessert for days. The same dessert where I suffer 3 worms attack in a row.

I've seen multiple times their harvesters being eaten so.....

I have seen the same.

Then I was not completely right I guess.

When I send out troops, I send a Orinthopter along with them. That way, I have enough warning for my army to to run for rocks or villages. I don't know if the AI is biased, but with this hack, I don't lose units or harvestors to worms.
So how do the ornithopter help detect worms? Does putting one by your harvester give it more time to escape or what? I've still lost entire armies with ornithopters nearby.
