Where did single player go ?

I've just installed the most recent update and I seem to have lost the ability to start a single player game. Is it meant to be multiplayer only ? If so, its not what I signed up for or wanted when I purchased the game.

It's still there, first option on the menu; renamed Skirmish as technically that's the only game mode available currently. Is still a 4 player map, you just now have 5 factions to choose from in the advanced options and player set up screen. Otherwise no change to how Single Player works.

Skirmish is a bad name, not sure it implies a single-player experience the way they think it does.

Skirmish, ever since Command and Conquer 1(maybe earlier, I don't remember THAT far back) always implied game vs AI in RTS games.

I think it was called Skirmish even back in Dune 2, but its been a *LONG* while since I last played that

The game is getting a full campaign at some point, so when that is out, on the menu screen will have Campaign, Skirmish and Multiplayer, sounds right to me.

there was no Skirmish in Dune 2, it was first a Red Alert feature IIRC. Has been in a Westwood Dune game because of Dune 2000, ofc.
