Why no cheat options?

So first and foremost im enjoying the game and looking forward to future updates however one thing that drives me crazy and seems to be a thing in modern RTS is the lack of cheat options look sometimes I just want to max-resources spawn a bunch of units and just go crazy and test stuff kinda sad to see no in-game option or console command access that allows us to do that.

Its still in EA bruh. Im sure they would do it if ppl want them to. That said if more ppl like you voice their opinion then the devs will seriously have to consider this, make sure to send this feedback if you feel like this is something you want to see in the game.

Yeah that does make since I guess I jumped on the train of taking early access more for than what it really is still hope to see the option in a future update if possible when things get more tuned i guess

I too liked to spam cobra cars in Age of Empires 2 when I was younger and those big explosion guys, saboteurs they were called I think? So yeah I know where you're coming from regarding the cheat codes. But AoE2 was already finished game you see so yeah :P

I need cheats as well because I suck at 4X games.

I like to use cheats to simply have fun. And then I play a game like this where the AI is obviously cheating and despair because I can't cheat back. I've been around since the days of AoE as well. I sometimes just want unlimited resources so I can focus on combat.

It being early access is a very good reason for it to HAVE a console: if a player found a bug, they can use commands to try to recreate the circumstances that caused it, rather than trying to wrangle the RNG engine to reproduce them.

As far as I know they even trying to block apps like WeMod. I am in the same road with you guys. Have no idea why devs are not adding cheats to nowadays games.
