You really have no clue what you are talking about, don't you?
I will give you a hint, a GOG release doesn't need a crack. And a Steam release is cracked on day on of release, I can already download this game from certain warez sites, if I wanted to.
stop crying and just buy the game on steam.
Yeah, seems like we have one of those cases here, who mistakes opinion for facts. By his logic, games liker Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 or any of the other hundreds of games were all failures, because they are on GOG.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot Baldurs Gate 3. That is an even more recent and probably better example.
Facts, where are these facts coming from? Certainly not based in reality.
I've just popped onto a well know site for getting dubious games and looked at the current top 100 PC Games there
First 15 Downloads are not available on gog
Next five are available on GOG but these are cracked Steam versions
Reading through not 1 of the top 100 currently pirated games from the most known of sites came from a GOG install
Out of the 100 downloads only 20 are for games you can buy on GOG (again pointing out while the games are available on GOG these are not from GOG installs), the other 80 are from Steam and other DRM enabled stores.
You are talking total verifiable rubbish.
Interestingly, the warez community doesn't like to share GOG releases, as a sign of respect for GOGs no DRM policy and because it's mostly indies and older titles on GOG.
They only do so if no other release (e.g. cracked Steam) is available.
No honour in it, it would be like a heavy weight boxer walking through a retirement home punching the residents to prove how great they are.
Most GoG uploads are from kids with delusions of hackerdom
The only exceptions is for things like Spore or Alpha Protocol (surprised not to see that in the top 100), which GOG fixed and made workable on modern machines
