Everyone remembers the best & coolest faction of the Ordos. Problem is, for some reason they colored Atreides green so uh, yeah, no hope for Ordos. And to correct ShSilver, Ordos is not fanfiction, it was a real house but never fleshed out or developed, which is what Westwood and subsidaries did, turned a simple name into a whole house. And yes, they had sick music, dope units, whole arsenal, very intriguing and cool, they had their own personality, great house, Brotherhood of Nod in the future. Well yea Atreides is green and black with red hawk symbol in the books. Idk why they made them blue in the Westwood games. While Ordos is cool they are fanfiction and there already is a faction that is identical in canon they could use - Tleilaxu.

No. Ordos was invented by the devs who did the old Dune RTS games. They're functionally the Ixians, though, so I think including those guys would be a fine "substitute."

Looks like there are four factions (at least), so aside from Atreides and Harkonnen, my guess would be Fremen and the Padishah Emperor or House Corrino. That said it'd be kinda neat if Bene Tleilax and Bene Gesserit were options, eventually. Probably not on release, though. Way too niche/tricky.

I'd also personally like to see the Spacing Guild but I know that's an extremely remote option due to their inexorable connections to every other faction. It's be sorta like CHOAM as a faction. "Ah yes, everyone is reliant on us cooperating with them so obviously when we declare war they get cut off from everything."

No Horse Ordos is from my MLP/Dune 2 crossover fanfic, available at all fine fanfiction outlets near you.

Yeah. Um. They're still not canon. I wouldn't hold your breath. Ix is probably what you want to pull for if you want anything approaching Ordos, because they're extremely similar in concept.

I think realistically we're either getting Fremen, Corrino + Sardaukar, Ixians or Tleilaxu. I'm unfamiliar with Ordos since I never played the older Dune games.

Ordos does not exist.... never did save in the games back from westwood.... and Atreides are BLUE not GREEN.... Starship Troopers made bad mistakes in development, yet personaly? THIS IS WORSE! Next they say Atreides are not decendents of Sparta NOR their Duke is being called Leto (wich he is in the RTS btw.(Dune 2 and 2000) so deal with him surviving and waging war). There are things that a developer SHOULD NEVER TOUCH OR CHANGE, those are a few of them..... i guess adding ordos as this is a rather successor to the old RTS games would be needed too (You nailed Vladimir Harkonen thou)
