Wierd issues with the AI game
Hi, first of all I really appreciate the devs finally adding SP-friendly bots.
That said, I’m not sure if what I’m experiencing.
I’ve tried playing two skirmish games vs AI and both had the same issues:

- Units take about a minute to spawn after being queued

- In the first match, everyone was shooting but no damage was being dealt

- Supplies don’t seem to repair properly and stay stuck around 9k

- However, when my artillery arrived, it refilled to full ammo in about 15 seconds

Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe someone knows a fix?

alot of technical issues in skirmish and pvp are mostly related to de-sync, trust me.

especially those statements, and it occurs more frequently in pve than pvp.

So basically there is no fix and we should wait for offline mode, if this ever comes?

the only fix the game needs is stopping balance changes because the game isnt this bad.

and focusing on technical issues plaguing the game, mainly the De-sync issue

its been ever present since the release of the game and most of the issues come from it.

and many speculate and mistake de-sync issues with hacking, including a bookder shooting a unit that is hidden behind a building, its all de-sync.

i really hope other people start speaking of it and avoid the damn balances.
Yep, just had this happen, exactly as you described it to the letter. Queued in vs 9 bots to test something and the game wouldn't go over 12 FPS along with all the other issues you outlined.

Just fix the technical bugs and more people will come back to play it as that's the # 1 driving away factor currently, not a lack of content.
Hmm,

I have played about 19 Skirmish AI Games so far and my FPS have been Fine.

I did have two disconnects due to Internet Issues, but that was more on my Shotty Wifi for that day Combined with Peak BA Server Load.

The AI Spams Units a Lot in Phase 1, so if you go 300 or above Econ Wise then make sure your Computer can handle it. This is the same for Comp Stomps.

The AI not doing any damage, the supply issue, and the Arty?
--> I have never had this issue in any of my games on a mass scale with both Online and especially Private Skirmish AI games
--> there were moments Online with other players where the Desync or Delay in an encounter would occur with damage being dealt, but it seems to have gotten better post recent patch

The AI takes a little longer to get units out, for me it's under a minute, more like 30-40 secs but that is a good thing because you can get some early Scouts out or just Float some extra Points. --> this is private Skirmish game is for you & not for the Bots. LOL

* shouldn't be THAT long, but there is always a delay when deploying units (the AI doesn't deploy ANYTHING for the first 20-30 seconds) even on multiplayer

* That's an odd one... unless its a latency issue I don't know how that's possible

* Click on the dropped supplies and make sure all of the icons along the bottom of the screen are 'On'. You can limit resource drops to just do specific tasks like re-arm and not repair. I've never turned any of them off but I suppose you could if needed.

- However, when my artillery arrived, it refilled to full ammo in about 15 seconds
* The larger the munitions, the longer it takes to re-arm. You can tell if its working or not based on the weight of the supplies (decreasing in kilos every second) and the ring around the supplies turns orange. There's a way to determine how much resource is needed per-round when building your deck but I can't think of it at the moment.
