Is it possible to release the game as early access?
After playing the Beta test, I think in terms of joyfulness this game has been much better than when WARNO was released as early access two years ago, so it is qualified for early access too. The only thing that needs to be done is to optimize the performance to make it run more smoothly (My computer is RTX4090 and i9 13980Hx, but could only run the game at a FPS of 30)

I also really want to play this game but let them polish it properly and follow their plan, beta was overall pretty good and I had a lot of fun

A release date wouldn't hurt tho

I think you sort of answered yourself here. Even extraordinary good PC cant handle this at this point. When this will go down to acceptable values then release might happen and not just early one.

i agree somewhat and disagree. I think they should release a demo with maybe a skirmish mode and a few maps until release. But im really against early access games as 9/10 times they never get completed. I really respect the devs for not just throwing out some half baked ♥♥♥♥ game and saying it will be fixed in the future.

I am strictly against EARLY ACCESS.

9 out of 10 experiences I've made with EA throughout the last 10ish years, were negative.

Either because devs never really finished the game or the game was instantly dead once it was released as the EA period was just a poor excuse to work slowly and a broken a$$ game.

Or because the developers only released the game because they had to, not because the game was actually ready.

EA is garbage and its a bad idea. Call me old school, but back in the 90s and early 2000s, EA was non existent to extremely rare. Usually game developers released a free demo version of the game (mostly through gaming magazines, CD or DVD) and then at some point later that year, they released the FULL game version.

On rare occassions, there was some issue requiring a patch, which they released and you had to download on their website.

Thats it.

Ofc this later on evolved, but if you would tell someone back then to pay money for an unfinished game, they would have called you crazy.

I stick to that....EA is mostly a trash idea.

This is exactly right. They could release a demo to keep us busy until then, but please no endless chain of early access. I genuinely hate EA nowadays.

Yes, I think maybe you have a reason. It is true that most early access games are garbage:steamfacepalm:. Perhaps the only exception in recent years is Baldur's Gate 3? I just feel that I can't wait any longer as the game has lying in my wish list for almost 2 years and It is so attractive, especially when comparing with other games of the same type, like WARNO.

I usually had 60-140 on 3440x1440 with an RTX 4080 and a I9-14900K. Something must be weak or not working properly in your system. But nonetheless, the game needs better performance.

I think the developers need to decide alone whether or not they should release the game as EA or full release. They are the ones that have to live with the consequences of the decision.
Both have up and downsides. But if they think they can release the game in a proper state, with enough content on launch day they should go for a full release. That way they can charge more money (to fund development better) and the selling numbers are usually higher on a solid full release compared to a half-baked EA strategy.

Maybe I need to tweak my system but I haven't figured out how to do it until now, at least with all other games, i.e. WARNO, Warhammer 3, Cyberpunk, etc. my PC runs smoothly in 4K with highest graphic quality.
And I don't know if you have experienced the same that actually even at FPS 30 the movement of land units including infantry, tanks, and helicopters is not affected, but the movement of fixed wing airplane stutters significantly

Dude, I get it. I also want to play the game because I am massively fed up with WARNO and all the other nonsense EUGEN produced. I am currently even playing CoH3 and the game pretty much sucks, must be the most frustrating experience I had in a long run.

But I rather have a decent BA than a half broken one that will get dozens of negative reviews.

If you guys need some modern warfare strategy fix, Syrian Warfare is way to go. Not a wargame, but pretty solid RTS that is currently on sale for a spare change.
Kato Feb 28, 2024 @ 2:03am
I think the point is that for EARLY ACCESS you must play bigger fee to the STEAM,
also you must end the game to the some date....

Also i think and the core thing, RATING will be near 50% because some guys will just crying its baged this game work on my 1060 only in 30 fps on low... and so on so on...

and when the game relise this will affect to the sales....
And i hope(as mentioned some where) its must out 2024 Q1-Q2 but may be latter...
What i saw in the bette this dates very optimistics... but may be we play old build .... who knows...

It is a very nice game indeed, but it only comes in singleplayer and the voice acting is beyond terrible.

Its not remotely a replacement/alternative for BA.

EA is not a thing we want to do.

There are just too many complexities with it.

Sorry.

This is weird. Your graphic card is better then mine. I had no problem running the game at full graphic. Maybe because I run AMD. This is my stetup.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor (16 CPUs), ~4.2GHz
Memory: 65536 MB RAM
Graphic: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT 8147 MB
Monitor Name: BenQ EX2510S
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
