Why don't you make this in the gameplay style of World In Conflict or C&C?
sick of these Wargames type gameplay, sometimes its confusing to play it like this

just revert to the simple style of World In Conflict or go to base building C&C; the unit models are good but it feels like an another lost opportunity

World in conflict currently has 3 players...... Commander and conquer COLLECTION (collection of multiple different games) is only marginally above WGRD and is also likely just surfing on its brand name fame from its original titles back in the 2000s.

Personally i havnt bothered with either of those titles. This style of RTS is just better, a hell of alot closer to the real thing( note keyword closer ) when compared with those two titles, with more depth, thought required, and ALOT more fun.

It seems like you are asking this in the wrong forum.

Why does thing A has to be like thing B just because you like thing B?

You are asking a Rock band to play Jazz because you don't like Rock.
My dude just find a Jazz band lol

because devs usually avoid risks. So instead, they are more willing to do what everyone has already done and had some kind of success with it.

TBH Something closer to World In Conflict would be 150% better but to create an A.I is harder and costs more than just adding some scripts for "A.I" and make the game almost multiplayer.

Even so, I can't wait for the launch day and see if it will worth for me or not.

Sometimes is better just wait and see what everyone else will think and see some offline gameplays as well.

The op should take a look at Regiments, it's slower than the Eugen games and smaller scaled so you have time to actually watch the battles. A lot like World in Conflict tbh.

I would probably buy World in Conflict if it was available on Steam. It looks quite good.

The game does felt like WiC to me though, I'm not sure if anybody else felt the same.

Broken Arrow got rid most of many annoying gameplay mechanics from Wargame and make it more fun to play for me.

Totally different type of game and I disagree with your statement.
Couldn't disagree with you more. This game is fun because it isn't like other war games and has a steeper learning curve as a result. But it's incredibly satisfying to watch your guys bound their way towards and objective and hold down a point while you resupply and swap out the wounded. If they just carbon copied a popular game then it would feel like they lost an opportunity to stand out.

I was quite disappointed in the beta because of this, They clearly are just going for a war-game feel, which sucks in my opinion.

Sounds like excellent idea for a DLC. I like current rules but definitely would play Broken Arrow in Tom Clancy's EndWar's universe rulesets/campaign.

Yeah man i feel like this is the closest anyone has gotten to WiC, it just has deck building and instead of off map arty and air strikes you get to actually control them.

i was ADDICTED to the beta and im wating for a release date to drop ASAP

What is your point ?
Back in the days, WiC had a large playerbase.
