Broken Arrow

Any info on more factions?
Hello,

I'm really interested in the game, and its on my wishlist with a buy-on-release mindset, as I love the genre (even if I'M bad at it)... I've seen the amazing deck building videos, and I know on release it will focus on US-RU, but are there any plans to add any more factions?

If a lot of people buy the game,
then I'm pretty sure ( as a guess ) that there will be new factions/nations :abitmtired:

One could also extend additionally on the existing 2 factions arsenal :)

Pretty sure the developers said China next. Fourth faction, by speculation, would be an European faction. The rest no body knows.

really hyped to see finally someone made modern warfare RTS.

The game didnt feel complete without some middle-eastern flavor. fictional faction like MEC + GLA would be cool option. it also open up some asymetrical and interesting unit mechanic like svbied and tunnel. the asset could also reused as generic "baddies" for stuff like co-op mode against AI.

I'd say create a combined "EUROFOR" (by that I mean EU-based NATO forces) faction, with just more country-specific unit variants (e.g. ~6 variants of the mainline motorized \ mechanized infantry, basing on the country's doctrine emphasis and inf weapons-IFV composition) or simply go with few of the most prominent \ doctrine prevalent units, as simply many countries have lacking \ unfit for modern warfare units (for example, Polish AA beside Patriots is still pretty bad) and I'm guessing unlike russia, these won't get prototype stuff (or stuff which combat performance can be measured only artificially on paper basing on propaganda). Because if we're going that way you can make Poland a full fledged faction full of K2PL's, M1A2 SEP3 Abrams', AH-64's and biggest HIMARS fleet in the whole game...

Thus I'd guess rolling with Germans & UK's top tier tanks (Challengers 2 and newest gen Leopards), medium-tier french ones (+ possibly Leo 2A4's from Spain or Poland?), eventual low-tier trashy post-soviet modernized stuff from PL or UA? Heavy mech. inf would be again Germany & UK with their Puma's & Warriors; Medium IFV inf being French with EBRC Jaguar and \ or Swedes with CV90); Light IFV inf could be any BMP-supported inf from Czechia or any of the eastern-wall countries. Motorized Inf? Poles with Rosomaks (Mot. Inf. is #1 fighting force in PL fighting doctine & armed forces mainline inf composition) & Dutch with Boxers, eventually UA with BTR-4 \ Stryker support. And so on and so on...

It's sports a good potential and should play well given that China has pretty much copycated many of the modern war machines and thus would have a counterpart for all of it.

the game already feels complete for me. But this game needs actual factions, not hypothetical ones.

EUFOR (EU-based NATO force) would make even more sense then, given that most probable angles of attack (incl. Suwałki Gap) are guarded pretty much by the whole NATO QRF.

Agreeed.
NATO, China and some kind of Middle Eastern Alliance (Iran, Egypt, Syria,?) would make perfect expansions with new theatres of war.
